Dan and I designed a brand new kit. It's the Cupcake Emporium. It's going to be loads of fun and come with everything you see in the picture! There will be the 5 kits to put together. The Bookshelf has cupcake cutout on the sides. All 3 table tops are made from acrylic. There will be dozens of doilies included. Also the kit comes with a complete cupcake mold making kit as well as all the bits a pieces that make all the cupcakes scene. Tutorials are included for hot to make cupcakes, roses, santa cupcakes, bunny cupcakes and scarecrow cupcakes.
We came out with a new color in the doilies and they are black and so pretty!! Please check them out.

I just wanted to show my new cake. Finished it tonight and had so much fun making it. I had to make a bunch of molds to complete this one, but I can't wait to make more. This was a special order, A friend of mine went to a wedding her niece had and this was her wedding cake. I want to do many more of this style with some more color. Just exciting, I guess that's why I love miniatures! There's always something new to do!!

I was so excited today to get my monthly American Miniaturist magazine in the mail today as I am in this issue! Martha Puff did a really nice feature on me and I did a tutorial on Snowman Soup! I was very excited to be published and hope everyone enjoys my tutorial. If you don't have a subscription please consider one. It's really fun to keep up to date on the miniature world!
Well I got back from the Portland show and was hit with orders. I finished the last one this morning!! It feels great to be caught up. All I have left is some special orders from Portland and then I hope to work on some new products and a tutorial. I've had a couple requests, but I am going to start with Melting Snow Man Cookies. I made these before the Denver show and they were a hit! I am very excited to share with you the in's and out's of making them.
Well back to work for me... ;-)
Well here I am again headed to another Dollouse show. It will be first year at the Northwest Dollhouse show and I am excited! Always fun to do a new show and I love Portland. The first time I visited was on my honeymoon. We went to the zoo and that was a wonderful experience since it was my first time to a zoo. Then we went through a couple times on our way to the Oregon Coast to camp. 2 years ago we made a special trip to spend a couple days and went to Powells! Oh my!! If you love to read this huge bookstore is a must!
Just got some new mini creations done. A brand new Tiramisu, some pastry plates that are so yummy and 3 brand new supply plates. The plates have one of the beautiful laser cut doilies on them. A beautiful addition to your home or Bakery!
I just wanted to remind everyone of the Denver Dollhouse show coming soon! Sept. 7-11, 2011. I'll be teaching two classes and still have some openings. #1 class is a Wonky cake and #2 is Easter Treats.
Denver is a load of fun and I can't wait to do the show and teach! See you there!!
