Done with Denver

This was a wonderful show! My first year in Denver turned out to be a success. I took an all day class with Debbie Young on Thursday to do a 1:48 scale attic. It was a wonderful class. I learned a lot about distressing and antiquing wood and furniture. I didn't quite get the attic fully finished, but will do so when I get back from Seattle sometime. Here are some photo's of the class.

If ever you get a chance to take a class from Debbie Young, I'd highly recommend it.

I then taught a class Friday morning on making and decorating cakes. It was a very fun class and everyone got a couple cakes done. I really hope to be able to teach a full day class next year.

The sales room was a blast. I was so busy I had a hard time finding a minuet to shop. But over the weekend I found some beautiful pottery and some laces I want to make table clothes with. It's always a hard thing to man a table and get shopping done as well. You truly love miniatures when you are torn as to what to do! But customers always come first and there were many! Thanks everyone for the great show and can't wait to see everyone next year!
